Apprenticeship overview 

This programme builds the skills to deliver change smoothly and confidently within Santander. You’ll learn how to plan and manage projects endtoend—scheduling activities, managing resources, and identifying risks and opportunities. Throughout the programme, you’ll develop the ability to monitor budgets, quality, and progress, while adapting to challenges in a fastmoving, digitally evolving environment. It’s designed for those ready to take responsibility for projects and workstreams, improving performance and driving successful outcomes. 

Who's eligible? 

  • Relevant work experience 
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs with grades 9 to 4 (A* to C) including English and Mathematics 

Targeted Skills 

  • Endtoend project planning, including scheduling, scoping, and resource coordination 
  • Risk and opportunity management, identifying and responding to issues that impact delivery. 
  • Performance monitoring, tracking budgets, quality, and progress throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Change navigation, adapting plans and approaches in fastmoving, evolving environments. 
  • Workstream and stakeholder management, taking responsibility for project activities and ensuring smooth delivery. 
 

Who is this programme for? 

With this project management level 4 qualification, you’ll show you have the skills and knowledge to follow a range of career paths, whether as a project manager, improvement specialist, or change lead. Once you’ve finished the programme, you’ll have the opportunity to pursue an additional specialist professional qualification through our partnership with Firebrand. This includes globally-recognised standards such as APM PMQ, PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner, or APMG AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner.
