Apprenticeship overview 

You’ll develop creative strategies that strengthen your team and position yourself as a compliance and risk expert. Guided by experienced professionals, you’ll learn to plan and deliver actions that help Santander operate effectively within regulatory requirements. Training fits seamlessly into your role, giving you practical frameworks and insights to assess and manage risk from day one. You’ll also build strong communication skills, adapting your approach to keep stakeholders informed and drive improvements in compliance outcomes. As part of the programme, you’ll complete an ICA Diploma in AntiMoney Laundering, Financial Crime Prevention, or Governance, Risk and Compliance. 

Who's eligible? 

Eligibility can vary but typically includes one of the following: 
  • A degree or professional qualification in an appropriate discipline 
  • ICA Advanced Certificate in Compliance (International or UK) 
  • Three years relevant work experience

  • Risk assessment and management using recognised frameworks 
  • Regulatory compliance expertise to interpret and apply rules effectively
