  • Trainee Accounting Technician
  • Cashier Finance Assistant
  • Purchase Ledger Clerk
You’ll learn to work methodically, insightfully, and accurately within industry regulations of the accounting profession as an Assistant Accountant.

Targeted Skills

  • Core Accounting Skills - Preparing accounts, processing transactions, maintaining ledgers.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis - Interpreting financial data and producing useful reports.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Awareness - Working accurately within accounting standards and controls.
  • Digital & Emerging Skills - Using accounting software plus awareness of AI, sustainability, and cyber security.
  • Professional Behaviours - Communication, organisation, and reflective practice through ongoing coaching.

Who is this programme for?

  • You must be employed in a relevant role to study this programme
  • Grade C or above in at least 5 GCSEs, including English and Mathematics
OR
  • Significant work experience
